Bedmax did a lot of research before they began production, and listened carefully to veterinary experts, equestrian professionals and potential customers. That research confirmed that more and more horse owners were choosing shavings as their preferred bedding. But it also confirmed that the majority of shavings available then were too small, compacted too quickly, and above all, were loaded with dust.

So they designed and built a production plant from scratch, and started making BEDMAX - shavings made specially for horses that eliminate dust, and maximise comfort, cushioning, drainage, ease of use and cost efficiency.
